Ham it Up at ABC Christmas Challenge

It's time for another challenge over at ABC Christmas Challenge and for this "D" challenge we want to see your Designer Paper(s)!

We have two fab sponsors, Stamp & Create and QKR Stampede.  The winners will receive a $25 gift certificate from Stamp & Create and 5 digis of their choice from QKR Stampede - if these prizes aren't incentive enough I don't know what is!!

When I was searching through the digital images at QKR I saw this sentiment and knew I had to find the image to go with...

I would like to introduce you to Christmas Pig ... he cracks me up!  I colored him and his surroundings with my Copic markers and added my fave, Glossy Accents and used some puff stuff for his hat.  I also dug out my sewing machine and stitched each layer.

The papers are from the White Christmas collection by #We R Memory Keepers.  For the layout, I used the sketch from The Sketch File.

The Design Team has come up with some fab creations, make sure you check them out!

Feelin' Sneezy at Cards for Men

It's time for our Wintertime challenge at Cards for Men and with the challenge comes our fab sponsor, Fresh Brewed Deigns.  The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate!

If you're like me, I'm patiently waiting for spring to arrive, enough snow and cold temperatures already!  With the cold weather, tis the season for the common cold ... hence my choice of using Snowbuddy Sneezy for my card.

I colored sneezy with my copic markers and thought the papers from Party Animal Collection by KaiserCraft worked with my coloring choice.

I decided to make a gate fold card, it's one of my fave folds and haven't done one for a long time.  I thought it would be neat to make the sentiment moveable, like opening and closing a gate.

The sentiment both outside and inside is from On the Mend collection by Lawn Fawn.

Make sure to stop by Cards for Men and check out the fab creations by our talented Design Team and check out the cute digi images over at Fresh Brewed Designs!

Challenges:
Paper Playtime - Use a Sentiment Stamp
Catered Crop - Stars
Here Come the Boys - Lots of Layers
Fab 'n' Funky Challenges - What's inside

We've Got Chemistry

As a new member of The Crafting Cafe Design Team, it's time to celebrate with our Anything Goes Challenge!  The Crafting Cafe is a new monthly challenge blog and we have some great designers and sponsors lined up!

It's day 14 of our challenge and for my submission I used The Experiment by LEJ Designs.

I colored the image with my Copic markers and added glossy accents and glitter to the potions.  Being that it's Valentine's Day, I used the sentiment by Kraftin Kimmie and papers from the Love Story Collection by Fancy Pants Designs.  I used an embossing folder on the brown cardstock to add some embossed hearts.

Our sponsor for this challenge is LEJ Designs and the winner will receive 4 digi's of their choice!

Now it's your turn to get creative and enter your project in our challenge!

C is for Case at ABC Christmas Challenge

Oh, this challenge is so much fun!  At ABC Christmas Challenge we want you to Case any one of our cards from our Past Challenges.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one but I had no idea what Case a Card meant until this challenge (head down in shame).  So all you have to do is choose a card posted on the ABC Christmas Challenge blog from one of our Design Team members and "copy" it, in other words, make it your own by interpretation.

My inspiration was Carissa's card in the L for Lyrics Challenge.  I used the same Saturated Canary Image, Molly and colored her with my Copic Markers. I also added glossy accents and some stickles here and there and distressed the edges with Antique Linen by Tim Holtz.  I fell in love with these papers, City Sidewalks Collection by Pink Paislee and thought this card would be perfect to showcase them.  This was my first attempt at a rosette flower...I felt like I was all thumbs trying to shape and tape the darn thing! The sentiment is from the Christmas Sampler set by Paper Smooches.

Our Sponsor for this challenge is Saturated Canary and the winner will receive 2 digis from the very talented Krista!

Hello!  My name is Krista Smith.
I have been drawing and doodling my whole life...as far back as I can remember!  Over the last year and a half, I have been selling it on Etsy.  I was approached to draw stamps for Sugar Nellie, a stamp company based in Scotland.  After designing only rubber for a year, I decided to branch out a bit into the digital world :)  As an artist, I appreciate the versatility of digi's for the stamper.  I also like releasing stamps that are a little more obscure or unique. Monsters, nerds with big glasses...even a mermaid:) Those ones are really fun for me to draw! After opening up my digi shop in the beginning of September, I've been busy filling orders:) I am really thrilled and very humbled that ladies are so receptive to my designs and seem to enjoy coloring them a lot! I am so inspired by these amazing colorists!! I have met so  many wonderful, talented ladies through this business and look forward to building new friendships, too! My personal blog, Saturated Canary, is filled with bits of my family life, artowrk, and a slight obsession with fashion ;) I also run a new challenge / inspiration blog, Saturated Canary Challenge with my amazing design team.  I'd love to meet you and be inspired by your own creations! Do stop by and say hello! :)

All my Love at Cards for Men

It's all about Love at Cards for Men!  That's right, our challenge is "All My Love" so break out the mushy stuff and show us what you got.

I was having a bit of a dilema with my card, thinking of how I would make it "masculine" but I figured a wedding card really was for both man and wife so while I tried to stay with masculine colors, I did add some feminine touches!

The Kenny K digi that I worked with is called Happy Couple.  I colored it up with my copic markers and added glossy accents to their pearly whites.  I couldn't have a bride without some bling so I added some rhinestones on her tiara and earrings

Our sponsor for this challenge is, of course, Kenny K.  The winner will receive 5 digis of their choice!

I'm sure you're all familiar with the wonderful work of Kenny K's Shop but what about the man (and woman) behind those wonderful creations.  Take a look here to see their journey.
